We’re excited to have started a new teaching series that looks at the Beatitudes! The Beatitudes are found in the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament and are part of Jesus’ teaching known as the Sermon on the Mount. There are eight Beatitudes which all teach us something about what it means to live as a child of God’s kingdom. We’ll take one Beatitude a week and our Sunday talk will focus on what Jesus was trying to tell us and what it means for us today. We’ll share the relevant verse each week and many of our Connect Groups will have some further study and discussion to really get to grips with the teaching.
We’re excited about doing this together and hope many in the church family will be able to get involved!

Bible Reading
We’ll focus on one of the Beatitudes each week, aiming to chew it over each day as well as learning more about it in our Sunday teaching. If you miss a week or start late, don’t worry! You can catch up with the verses here and there’s no pressure to do all or any of them. We’d love to do this as family so you might want to commit to reading the verse with your Connect Group or with a friend. You could message one another each day to discuss how God is speaking to you through his word and to encourage each other to keep going.
