February 5th

“I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;

he heard my cry for mercy.

Because he turned his ear to me,

I will call on him as long as I live.”

Lord Jesus,

We thank you that you care about every intimate details of our lives. You care when we are happy or sad, joyful or frustrated. You care when we are hurting, feeling distant from you, or feel like we have no motivation at all.

Lord, we lift up all our pain, hurts and frustrations to you now. Hear our cry for mercy, God. Turn your ear towards us as we tell you what is going on.
