Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him.

As surely as the sun rises, he will appear;

He will come to us like the winter rains,

like the spring rains that water the earth. Hosea 6:3

Dear Father,

Thank you for the rain today:

for the way the earth is softer and the the roots of weeds easier to pull up,

for the life the moisture brings to germinate the seeds,

,and for the growth in the fields and gardens.

Please send your Spirit in these exceptional times,

to soften our hard hearts and remove deep rooted selfishness

and grow daily in patience and kindness.

Please show us who among our contacts is ‘germinating’ in faith

and show us how to be a support as they grow.
